Campground Rules

Base Access & Eligibility 

Base Access 

Please make sure you and ALL guests have a valid military ID before you arrive, being that the FamCamp is located on the Air Force Base.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE BASE ACCESS. To make sure you are eligible to access the base, please contact the Visitor's Center at (843)-963-5729 (This number is to ONLY check eligibility for base access, NOT FOR RESERVATIONS)

*** If your guest does not have a valid military ID, they MUST have a REAL ID Driver's license (ID with a star)*

Ineligible Guest:

  • Active-duty military stationed at Joint Base Charleston or DoD card holders working on or with Joint Base Charleston are only allowed to stay 30-Days. FamCamp unless on leave or TDY.

  • Citizens without Military ID Card

  • ​

Eligible Guest:

  • Retired Military members

  • 100% Disabled Veterans

  • Active DoD ID card holders

  • Active Duty Military members not stationed at or working on Joint Base Charleston. 

Making A Reservation 

Day of Arrival

Check in: 0900-1700
- On the day of your arrival the ORC office will           call you to give your Site # and who to Check           in with.

- Office Hour Check-in: 0900-1700 (Meet in office)
 

Day of Departure

Check-out: 0900-1700
